@Maury: Are you making a general comment or are you trying to point out what you believe is a mistake on this page? The expression used here is “turning off electronic devices”. What wording would you suggest then?

Most modern switches don’t have an off POSITION. They are push button switches or buttons on a display that don’t have different positions for on and off. They are in the same position whether they are on or off. So my switches are ALWAYS in the OFF position. They are also always in the ON position.

Although Alaska did offer amazing commercials like these in the 80′s . . . . since 9/11, no airline could or would do the same. However, this airline is still the premiere airline in the U.S. The producer Joe and Alaska have always been levels above their competitors.

Saw the movie, loved it as I have made several trips to most the the Hawaiian islands. I think Connie Selleca is a wonderful human being and a terrific actress.

OMG, it’s such an honor to have Jay comment here! This has been a favorite movie of mine for years, just amazing. I also saw it the first time quite by accident. I tried then to purchase it, back in the VHS days, LOL. And it wasn’t available. Now I see I can finally own it, I am thrilled. It’s honestly my favorite Christmas movie because the story is so incredible. I’m on the edge of my chair every time I see it, even tho I know what happens that moment when the tower tells Jay “we see you” makes my cry! What can I say? Hard to imagine living through that. (And if I was Jay’s wife I would have killed him —- after I kissed him!)
