Every month, an airline printed advertisement, minus airline name and logo, is displayed for your guessing pleasure on Guess The Airline. The following is the answer to a previous game.
(This was, in fact, the very first Guess The Airline!)
Are you ready to view the advertisement that has probably kept you bugging forever… well, actually for a whole month? It is obvious that it is an advertisement for an Asian airline. Many of you submitted answers as varied as Singapore Airlines, JAL, Thai, Korean Air and Garuda Indonesia… This advertisement was brought to you by airodyssey.net visitor Jakrin A.

How to guess it?
It was an advertisement for Korean Airlines, in the old Swan livery. There weren’t many things to indicate you the airline. To the clever one, all you had to do is read the tiny little text, almost impossible to read. You could find out that the mystery airline flew to “eleven [international] destinations in Asia”, among them “Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Philippines, Taipei, and of course, our homeland, _____”. By thinking a little bit you find out that it is NOT an airline from Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, the Philippines or Taiwan, since they’re not the homeland.
After eliminating JAL, Cathay Pacific (which flew the L-1011 instead), Thai, Philippine Airlines, and China Airlines, it was all a matter of luck, trying each one of the other major Asian airlines that are flying or have flown the DC-10. That aircraft type was barely recognizable on this ad! But, for the cultivated person, you can find out that the flight attendants are wearing the national Korean costume (thanks to Jakrin for the info!).
