Guess The Airline – March 2000 answer

Every month, an airline printed advertisement, minus airline name and logo, is displayed for your guessing pleasure on Guess The Airline. The following is the answer to a previous game.

There was low participation for this advertisement. Seems like no one dared to try any answer. Only one person had it right anyway! This advertisement was taken from a mid-1990s issue of Frequent Flyer, the monthly magazine for OAG Flight Guides subscribers.

TWA Trans World Airlines advertisement titled: 'On an expense report, this looks like a snack', from the year 1995, featuring a lavish meal.

How to guess it?

This is probably one of the hardest to guess. By a wild guess you can barely deduce it is a North American airline or for a North American market, with the 1-800 phone number. What if you looked up the toll-free airline numbers? If you really felt like doing so, you would have found that TWA was the airline with the number 1-800-221-2000! The slogan “First Class Service, Business Class Fare” could have helped.
