Every month, an airline printed advertisement, minus airline name and logo, is displayed for your guessing pleasure on Guess The Airline. The following is the answer to a previous game.
This Guess The Airline was special because many people who were wrong the previous month were right this month! Find out why. And also, the variety of wrong answers is amazing. The following was a magazine ad featured in this airline’s inflight magazine. Ready? Scroll down!

How to guess it?
The obvious clues in this advertisement are there. The Star Alliance logo. The uniform and the hand gesture from the flight attendants. The background of this advertisement, just like the other advertisements in this series. One of this airline’s signatures was hidden in the text. “Beautiful Chengdu aboard beautiful… THAI”. But many people were fooled by the depiction of China. Remember: if a country is advertised, it doesn’t necessarily mean the airline is from that country!
Last month, people thought a Singapore Airlines ad was in fact for Thai. Well, this month, the opposite happened anyway! But what is most amazing is that many people submitted China Airlines as an answer, simply because there is the word “China” in this airline’s name, just like on the advertisement. China Airlines is actually from Taiwan, R.O.C.
