Guess The Airline – April 2003 answer

Every month, an airline printed advertisement, minus airline name and logo, is displayed for your guessing pleasure on Guess The Airline. The following is the answer to a previous game.

This Guess The Airline had an almost 50-50 proportion of people guessing correctly or not. This was a 1965 advertisement taken from a National Geographic issue, and submitted by an visitor, Jay F. Ready? Scroll down!

How to guess it?

The year was already a clue for some people, but overlooked by several others, when answers like PEOPLExpress or Go Fly were submitted (particularly with the “Go” in “when […] the weather says ‘Go'”. The majority of people mentioned the slogan, “The World’s Most Experienced Airline” (and NOT “The World’s Favourite Airline” like British Airways) as their clue to guess correctly Pan Am.
