Every month, an airline printed advertisement, minus airline name and logo, is displayed for your guessing pleasure on Guess The Airline. The following is the answer to a previous game.
People have done extremely well in this game and the participation rate was very high! I’m very glad. This month, we had an ad published in a magazine called Washington Flyer, where this author picked up a copy at the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport last January. Ready? Scroll down!
How to guess it?
There weren’t many clues, but they sure were vital! First of all, the Asian reference throughout the ad, with the connections to Asia, the Asian character emphasis. Plus, the Star Alliance logo. The Boeing 777 and its scheme. The blue color. The flights out of Washington-Dulles. The possibilities were not endless for it to be All Nippon Airways (ANA). A lot of people were obviously fooled by the United Airlines Mileage Plus card. Come on. If an airline logotype is deliberately left out, it is obviously because it is NOT that airline.
