How to guess it?
The name of the airline was particularly short and could only be two or three letters long. The route map shown is consistent with other magazine or at least one TV commercial from the time. The non-stop to Washington was pretty rare at the time and this airline was probably the only airline that would come up to your mind. Finally, the slogan and the phone numbers were the major clues.
