The Pink Panther puts an oxygen mask on


I stumbled upon this video yesterday. The thumbnail showed the Pink Panther (or a lookalike) putting an oxygen mask on, so I clicked. Believe it or not, according to the uploader, this is a clip from El Al Israel Airlines’ safety demonstration video from the mid-1990s. Today, many safety demos are animated, yet I’m impressed. Don’t you think this video was ahead of its time?

El Al – New planes

In this very dreamy and beautiful 2007 commercial, people are setting up the sky in their own way, carefully positioning and painting the clouds and pulling the sun as if it was a curtain. They are making room for El Al’s two newest Boeing 777-200 aircraft, “Sderot” and “Kiryat Shmona.” The music is a version of Rose Royce’s “Wishing On A Star”.
