Another quality KLM wants to portray: how reliable (Betrouwbaar in Dutch) the airline is. It’s all in its slogan. It’s almost poetic: “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” by The Supremes, the rock-solid hymn to love, along with a rock-solid flying V formation of swans, is all it takes to portray this. KLM – Take-off


In the 1990s, KLM based its whole advertising strategy on swans and this is one of its beautiful commercials featuring this majestic bird. It appears as it if was taxiing for take-off with a voice over the P.A. asking flight attendants to set doors on automatic, setting flaps for take-off, testing flight controls, and calling the take-off speeds. Guess The Airline – May 2001 answer

Every month, an airline printed advertisement, minus airline name and logo, is displayed for your guessing pleasure on Guess The Airline. The following is the answer to a previous game.

This Guess The Airline was, by far, one of those that registered a lot of participation… and a lot of good answers! The other answers were… more restrictive than the previous games as they all concentrated on ONE continent: Europe, for obvious reasons (it was mentioned in the text). This advertisement was taken from the back cover of a particularly useful Canadian travel guide for all countries. Are you ready to scroll down?
